What made you choose CrossFit True?

  • I chose Crossfit True because it was close to home but more importantly I found many confident reviews online embracing the team environment 

How long have you been training with us?

  • I believe I have been training with CrossfitTrue for almost 8 months

What has been your proudest moment in the past 90 days?

  • My proudest moment in the last 90 days has been coming to the realization that burpees will not kill me and when I focus I can actually do them consistently 

When you’re not at the gym, what do you do for work? What do you do for fun?

  • I work at Old Navy, but I enjoy hiking and traveling

How is your nutrition? How has it changed since joining CrossFit True?

  • I would say my nutrition has always been pretty good, but since joining CrossFit true I have learned to include more protein into my diet; now I incorporate protein shakes in the morning

What are your 3 favorite movements/exercises? 

  • I enjoy deadlifts, back squats, and jump rope

What is your favorite style workout? (AMRAP, EMOM, Rounds for Time, etc)

  • I enjoy AMRAP

What about your favorite workout?

  • I like the fact the AMRAP makes me push myself and fight to obtain as many reps as possible; its motivating 

Any favorite workout songs? 

-It is hard to choose a favorite workout song, anything that is upbeat with a good rhythm which connects to the movements are my favorites

Have you changed physically or mentally since you’ve been working out with us?

  • I believe I am both stronger physically and mentally since I have been working out with Crossfit True. I have gained muscle as well as the motivation to get up in the morning to hit the 9am class and feel powerful the rest of the day.

What are your current goals?

  • My current goals are to gain more strength and continue to work towards the ability to complete pushups/pullups without scaling

How have your goals changed since you joined? 

  • My goals have changed because I always felt like I needed to lose weight, but I really needed to gain muscle and strength, I have learned to stop looking at the scale and to focus more on giving my body proper nutrients

What has been the biggest surprise since joining CF True?

-The biggest surprise since joining CF True has been the amount of confidence I gained not only with how I look but believing in myself to push myself more and more each workout

What can you do now that you couldn’t do before joining?

-I can now do different types of movements with the barbell such as cleans and jerks!
